Description: 

Burlington Subaru is growing faster than we can keep up! Additional ASA (Automotive Service Advisor) needed for busy Service Department. You will work with customers and assist them with maintenance and repairs on their Subaru vehicles. Answer phones and emails, collect and file customer service repair records, and recommend maintenance and repair items to customers. Excellent earning potential and chance for advancement. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Working with customers and assist them with maintenance repairs
  • Working with Technicians to communicate potential issues with customers vehicles 
  • Work hours 8:00 A.M - 6:00 P.M.  M-W-Th-F. Tuesday 8:00 A.M - 7:00 P.M. Expected to arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for shift. Possibility for occasional Saturday hours.
  • Assist in the parking and retrieving of customer vehicles as needed
  • Checking the history on each vehicle at write up to ensure proper maintenance is recommended
  • Greet incoming service customers promptly and professionally, as well as cash out customers when needed to provide top notch customer care.
  • Writing work orders to document customers concerns and needs for the vehicle. Bill parts needed to work orders.
  • Coordinating with express techs to make sure jobs are done accurately and in a timely manner
  • Working with customers to relay any added repairs or service the technicians find, upselling those repairs 
  • Perform post check of vehicle to ensure vehicle is clean and work has been performed properly
  • Move signage outside and inside daily
  • Invoice paperwork accurately
  • Stay up to date on all required training
  • Answer incoming phone calls and emails during downtime, schedule appointments, check the status of repairs etc.
  • Work with the loaner car coordinator to understand the position. You will work with each other's respected positions when one is out.

Requirements: 

  • Able to dress professionally for weather conditions. This position is in the service drive. Although well heated, doors are open frequently so the area can cool down quickly in the winter, and outdoor work is required. There is no air conditioning in this area.
  • Must be able to provide customers with an amazing service experience
  • Excellent communication skills in person, over the phone and via email
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Comfortable using computers; Google products
  • Ability to drive a standard
